Mas Dia de los Muertos skulls

Ive been stuck in a drawing rut for the past few weeks. Havent drawn anything since my beloved kitty passed away. So I thought to get back into the swing of things I would draw something fun. I was debating on whether to give them all black backgrounds. Or should I just leave them the way they are? Sometimes the hardest part for me is deciding.
I will be framing these and putting them up in my etsy store very soon.

Yes, More Matryoshkas

You might be tired of seeing these, but Im not tired of drawing them yet. They are still a lot of fun and I feel like I am getting better at them. I got a few requests for more of these for some holiday shoppes. I will also be making a book. If you are interested in buying any of these they are currently for sale at these places: Ristretto RoastersPink Door Boutique, and Antler Annex (read more about it here.)

Wonder Fair Halloween Mask

This is a digital version of a screen printed mask I made for Wonder Fair's "100 Ghost Stories". I didnt get to spend as much time on this as I had hoped. Most people in the show took advantage of the rest of the white space around the mask. Check them out in their online store.

Endangered Animals

This is a charcoal illustration done for Compound Gallery's "An Ounce of Power" show. One thing I am so passionate about is nature conservancy. Doing the research for this illustration was very eye opening and depressing. Lots of beautiful creatures are on the brink of extinction or have already become extinct. Because I only had a limited amount of time to make this, I had to narrow the list down to North American species. I still was unable to fit a few animals such as the Right Whale and the Giant Sea Bass. But everything else, including the plants are some of our continents most endangered.

Dangers of the Deep Unknown

Drawn for the "Giant" show at Ponyclub Gallery. Outerspace and the depths of the ocean are two things that fascinate and frighten me. Mostly because they are so dark, deep, and vastly unexplored. This illustration is a mixture of the real and the fantastical.
